Overview

Whether you are a leisure, business or bleisure traveller, on arrival you will be surprised by either a hot or cold towel service and offered what we are sure will be a welcome cup of tea, coffee, glass of wine or a cold beer. You will be introduced to all that Knysna and the surrounding areas have to offer. If you are needing any reservations to be made for either activities or restaurants, these will be dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Then it's off to your room to unpack and relax. For the business traveller - and all other visitors to Hide Away - our complimentary high speed and uncapped fibre WiFi offering is available in all areas. The contents of the mini-bar in each room are refilled on a daily basis, as are the complimentary tea/coffee tray offerings. Use of the gym is available for all guests and is well equipped for most workouts.

Details

The Hide Away Guest House is located approx. 1.5 kms from the centre of town and the Knysna waterfront. An approximate 20 minute walk to the waterfront before dinner is a great way to stretch your legs after a long journey. There is an excellent taxi service in town so if you don't fancy the walk back after a leisurely dinner, the restaurants are more than happy to arrange transport for you. With numerous restaurants and coffee shops in the area - see our Restaurant Page, you will be spoilt for choice and this after enjoying an excellent breakfast every morning prepared by Cecil. Guests are asked to fill in their breakfast requests the night before to ensure their freshly prepared meal will be ready for them in the morning! You will note that our menu caters for most dietary requirements.
